This blend has properties very similar to R22 in refrigeration equipment. It has become a popular choice in the supermarket and refrigeration markets for retrofitting as well as new installations. Operating pressure/temperature in the evaporator, run-time capacity, and flow characteristics through tubing and valves make this blend the closest property match to R22 at lower evaporator temperatures.
